Methodist Relief & Development Fund (MRDF)
The
churches of the Mow Cop, Biddulph and Congleton Methodist Circuit, like all other Methodist
churches throughout the UK, actively support MRDF on an ongoing
basis.
MRDF is a registered charity which carries out work to
relieve crisis areas throughout the world and to develop environments
where communities can sustain themselves when the crises are over.
MRDF enables quick responses to high profile emergencies whilst also
supporting new and less publicised work.
Typically the fund supports
projects in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean,
South America and Europe.
